Dubrovnik

The “Pearl of the Adria” with its fierce history and famous old town is one of Croatia’s most important tourist centers.

The Old town was announced UNESCO World Heritage Site during the war of independency and is free of car traffic today. Europe’s oldest pharmacy, founded in 1317, can be found in the Franciscan monastery and the oldest municipal theater of Europe is still giving performances today.

Dubrovnik inspires with countless alleys, walkable city walland and many other little surprises you still have to discover on your own…

This important seaport is the most populated city in Dalmatia and the second biggest one in Croatia.

The dreamlike old town with the palace of Diokltian and the cathedral Sveti Duje is a must for every visitor of this city.

The 27 feet high statue of Grgur Ninski (Gregor from Nin) created from the sculptor Ivan Mestrovi attract many visitors. P

robably due it is called that it brings luck if one strokes over their enormous toes. After that much sightseeing it is often only pleasent to have a drink in one of the many cafes.

You will find enough of them on the promenada „Riva“, the probably most well- kown landmark of the city.
